Show Control System: Display Studio Status Error red, Able to ping display but not able to transfer messages

Potential Symptoms

  • Status button in the bottom left hand corner is red. Says M3: 172.16.192.25 not responding.
  • Able to ping display but show control not connecting.
  • Restarting Daktronics Nucleus Service with no change to display connectivity status.
  • Display IP address shows ready in Service Configuration menu but unable to transfer messages in Display Studio.

Cause

  •  Suspect corrupt content being sent to display.

Resolution

  1.  Connect with M2Config after closing Display Studio software.
  2.  Clear sign memory and reset display.
  3.  Open Display Studio and send messages to player with M3 File Manager.
*NOTE* Check to make sure (using M2Config) that there is plenty of memory available on the controller. If possible clear sign memory and make sure there's ample space for new content.
