Content Studio: How can I add text on top of a video / image?

Resolution

  1. From the Home Tab, under Quick Insert and then select text box.
  2. Draw your text box inside of the layout over the image or video.
  3. Now you will see a blinking cursor.
  4. Type desired text.
  5. Use the timeline feature to adjust when the text boxes enters the layout by following Content Studio: How do I make different words and/or messages appear at different times within the same Content Studio layout? .
  6. Click the content studio icon in the upper left hand corner and click Save.
