Venus 7000: How to use V7000 File Converter

Potential Symptoms

  • Use V7000 File Converter to convert files for use with a DMP-7000.

Resolution

The V7000 File Converter program will convert multiple V6500, V7000, AVI and Image files into V7000 Sequences

  1. Go to the Start menu and proceed to the All Programs/V7000/V7000 tools and open V7 File Converter.
  2. Click on Browse under the Source Directory and navigate to the location of the files to be converted.  Click on any file, v7 file converter will put all of the files in that folder into the Mark files to Convert area.
  3. Click on the file(s) that need to be converted.  Select All, Select None and Select Inverse are tools that can be helpful for selecting files.
  4. If the file size or color properties need to be adjusted click the Adjust button. 
  5. To View the file(s) before converting press the Preview button
  6. Click on the Browse button under V7 Destination Directory and browse to location of where the files will be placed
  7. Click on the Convert Button to convert the files to sequences, a V7 Convert window will open asking if the selected files are to be converted, select OK.
  8. After the Converter has run and converted the files close the converter.
  9. Test newly converted files.
