Environment

  • Product:
  • Component: Content Studio
  • Control System: Venus 1500 V4

Cause

  • Message was created on a previous version of Venus 1500 and/or incorrect configuration for the display in Venus (e.g. RGB 32K vs 68 billion colors).
  • Video that was imported into Content Studio is larger than the file size limit for the display. Or, the presentation has too many videos, graphics, or data within the presentations file size limitations.
  • The chart below shows the display memory for different display types.  Total display memory is shared for firmware, presentations, schedules, fonts, system files, etc.

Resolution

  1. Update the version of Venus 1500 on the original computer on which the message was created to the latest/same version as the new computer.
  2. Resize video or shorten video using the timeline or import window cropping.  See Venus 1500: How can I reduce a video's duration in V4 / Content Studio?  on how to edit video length during importing.
