Venus 1500: How can I reduce a video's duration in V4 / Content Studio?

Potential Symptoms

  • Decrease a video's duration in Venus 1500 V4
  • Trim the beginning or end of a video in Content Studio
  • Remove a portion of a video clip from Content Studio.

Resolution

  1. Launch Daktronics Content Studio (Content Tab -> Create).
  2. From the Media Library, click the Video Tab.
  3. Browse and locate video wanting to be imported and double-click or click-drag-drop the video onto the Layout.
  4. The Video Import window will appear.
  5. Under the Video Timeline Tab, click on the blue triangle (which will turn it orange) and drag either end to crop the beginning or end of the video.
  6. Click the Play button to preview video before you import.
  7. Once satisfied with the video duration, click Import.
