Galaxy, Primary/Primary, cannot update second side.

Potential Symptoms

  • Able to communicate with one side but not the other.
  • Unable to control the second side of the display.
  • One side playing old messages, and the other side is play new messages.
  • Can't change messages on one side.
  • One display is blank, and the other side is working.
  • When sending out test patterns, they only play on one side of the display.

Cause

  • Only one side of the sign is configured in the software.

Resolution

  1. Configure the 2nd side with the correct address in Venus 1500.
  2. Typically one display will be on address 1 and the other on address 2.
  3. All other settings should be the same as the first side.
