Cause

  • The installed codec was bad or corrupted.

Resolution

  1. Update Venus 1500 to the most recent version
  2. Follow Receiving error 'Required MPEG-4 Codec was not found', DD2031678 on how to Download and install codec.
  • If codec is installed, run a Repair. It will be listed like the below image in Programs and Features or Add/Remove Programs.

     3. If error still happens after installing codec or repairing, uninstall and reinstall codec.

    1. Go to Add/Remove Programs or Programs and Features.
    2. Browse for the installed codec: Daktronics Bitstream Encoder
    3. Select and Remove/Uninstall the codec.
    4. Follow Receiving error 'Required MPEG-4 Codec was not found', DD2031678 on how to install codec.
    5. Try importing video again.
