Content Studio crashes randomly only when closing or exiting content studio and gives error Content Studio has encountered a problem and needs to close or random BSOD Blue Screen of Death

Potential Symptoms

  • Content Studio gives error when closing or exiting content studio or  BSOD Blue Screen of Death.

Cause

  • The cause can be various different issues. BSOD Issue typically are related to some type of hardware component failure of the computer (RAM, VIDEO DRIVER, BIOS, etc.). These issue are not fixed or diagnosed by Daktronics Tech Support or Daktronics Engineering.

Work Around

  • User needs to contact their IT department or Computer Technician to download and run a program called BlueScreenView. This is a free program, that is not supported by Daktronics, and we do not assist in the use of the program. This program can be used to diagnose BSOD, show the cause, and possibly give a resolution.
