Potential Symptoms
- When sending schedule/messages in Venus 1500 v3 receiving the following error "Some of the messages selected were not sent because they did not exist in the Database Directory. However, they may be on the display".
- Scheduled messages not playing and getting an error " file not found in the database".
- The old messages that don't exist anymore are still scheduled to play.
Environment
- Venus 1500 (3.12)
- Scheduling
- Windows XP
Cause
- A message added to the schedule was removed from the software database.
- To verify:
- Launch Venus 1500 Schedule Studio.
- Click File -> Open.
- Browse and locate the schedule, click Open.
- Leave schedule open and proceed to next step.
- Open Venus 1500 Display Manager.
- Under Available Messages panel, browse through folders and compare messages listed in schedule to messages listed in Available messages.
- If one is listed in the schedule, but not showing in Available Messages, it was removed from the software database.
Resolution
- Solution 1: Retrieve message if still out on display and add it back into the database.
- Solution 2: Remove the message from the schedule
- With schedule still open, select and highlight the Line with the message that is missing from the database.
- Note: To highlight the line click on the number to the left of the message.
- Click the Yellow - Minus sign to remove line.
- Click File -> Save.
