Steps

  1. Navigate to https://dakfiles.daktronics.com/downloads/Transportation/Contract_Documents/Permanent%20Messages/VS5360/
  2. For Variable Speed Limit Signs with 16mm Pixel Pitch Modules, download daktronics-vs5360-16mm_1.0.1_all.zip.
  3. For Variable Speed Limit Signs with 20mm Pixel Pitch Modules, download daktronics-vs5360-20mm_1.0.1_all.zip.
  4. Follow How to load permanent messages to a VFC to load the messages to the controllers Permanent Message Library.
  5. Messages are loaded in the following manner:
    • Permanent.3 - Permanent.14
      • White Background, Black Text
      • Beacons Off
      • Starts at 30, increments by 5 up to 85
    • Permanent.15 - Permanent.26
      • Black Background, White Text
      • Beacons Off
      • Starts at 30, increments by 5 up to 85
    • Permanent.27 - Permanent.38
      • White Background, Black Text
      • Beacons On
      • Starts at 30, increments by 5 up to 85
    • Permanent.39 - Permanent.50
      • Black Background, White Text
      • Beacons On
      • Starts at 30, increments by 5 up to 85
