Camino 8: How do I access a Guest User Account?

Steps

 

 

Guest user accounts are created and managed in Venus Control Suite (VCS). Once a guest account has been created and assigned the appropriate permissions, users can switch to that account directly within Camino 8. Visit this article for more details. 

 

Step 1: Open the User Menu  
  • Open Camino 8.
  • Click the User icon in the upper-right corner of the application window.
  • The account menu will display the currently signed-in user and available account options. 

 

Step 2: Select Switch Account 
  • Click Switch Account.
  • The Switch Accounts window will open. 
Step 3: Search for the Guest Account 
  • Click in the Search field.
  • Type the name of the guest account.
  • Select the appropriate account from the search results. 

 

Step 4: Access the Guest Account 
  • Select the desired guest account.
  • Camino 8 will switch to the selected account.
  • Verify that the correct account is displayed in the upper-right corner of the application. 

Additional Notes 

  • Guest accounts must be created in Venus Control Suite (VCS) before they can be accessed in Camino 8.
  • If a guest account does not appear in the search results:
    • Verify the account has been created in VCS.
    • Verify the account has been granted access to the appropriate customer or site.
    • Verify the account has the required permissions.
  • Users can switch between accounts without signing completely out of Camino 8.
