LiveWrx: How do I operate an Activation?

LiveWrx Activations allow you to run interactive games during live events.

This article covers how to operate an activation once it has been added to an Engagement. 

Environment

  • Product: LiveWrx
  • Components: Engagements, Activations, Showtime Console
  • Control System: LiveWrx Dashboard

Steps

Your activations will be launched via the Dashboard and operated using the Showtime Console. This process is outlined below.

Log in to LiveWrx

  1. Create a new Engagement or open an existing one
  2. Create a new Activation or open an existing one 
  3. Click the Headset icon 
    • This will open the Showtime Console, where you can operate your game
  4. Set Status to Start Activation using the top-left drop-down menu
    • This will open an option to assign a Video Display Channel 
  5. Select the desired Video Display Channel, then click Assign
  6. Send your LiveWrx content to you video display using Display Studio, through either:
    • Web Page Playback
    • Streaming through another device using a capture card
  7. Allow fans to scan the QR Code on the Intro Screen
    • This will take users to a web page where they can interact with your game
  8. In LiveWrx, use the arrows to progress the game and move through activities 
    • High Speed Racing and Spirit Shuffle will move to the game and require minimal manual progress
    • This or That will move between questions
    • Gameday Trivia will move between questions and answers 
  9. Once reaching the Extro Screen, you can use Display Studio to return to your event 
  10. Back in LiveWrx, use the Status drop-down menu to End Activation
