LiveWrx: How do I create an Engagement?

An Engagement in LiveWrx is a created event that allows you to run activations (games) on your video display. 

This article explains how to create an Engagement in LiveWrx.

Environment

  • Product: LiveWrx
  • Components: Engagement Creation
  • Control System: LiveWrx Dashboard / Schedule

Steps

You can create a new Engagement from the Dashboard or from the Schedule. You can also duplicate an existing Engagement. All of these processes are outlined below:

Create an Engagement via the Dashboard

Log in to LiveWrx

  1. Click Start Engagement Now 
    • This will open a carousel of favorited Activations
  2. Select an Activation, then click Add
  3. If you would like to add additional Activations, click Add Activation from Favorites
  4. Repeat this process to add additional Activations as needed
Create an Engagement via the Schedule

Log in to LiveWrx

  1. Navigate to the Schedule via the Portal Menu
  2. Click New Engagement 
  3. Configure your Engagement
    • Enter an Engagement Name
    • Set a Date and Time for your event and engagement start
    • Set a Date and Time for your engagement end
    • Upload an Engagement Image
      • You can set it as a default for future engagements
      • Recommended size: 720 x 400 px [JPG/JPEG/PNG/GIF]
  4. Click Save
    1. When the engagement configuration criteria is set correctly, the Save button turns blue
    2. This will open a carousel of favorited Activations
  5. Select an Activation, then click Add
  6. If you would like to add additional Activations, click Add Activation from Favorites
  7. Repeat this process to add additional Activations as needed
Duplicate an Engagement

Log in to LiveWrx

  1. Navigate to the Schedule via the Portal Menu
  2. Open the appropriate day in your Schedule
    • Locate the tile on the calendar for the day with the Engagement you would like to duplicate
    • Click the calendar date in the top right corner or the white bar above your listed activations (grey lines) of the appropriate date tile
    • This will open a list of Engagements that were scheduled on that day
  3. Click the Duplicate icon 
  4. Configure your duplicated Engagement
    • Enter Engagement Name
    • Set a Date and Time for your event and engagement start
    • Set a Date and Time for your engagement end
  5. Select to Duplicate with or without content
    • Once completed, this will open Engagement Confirmation  
      • Duplicate With Content: Creates the duplicate Engagement with new versions of the Activations added to that Engagement.
      • Duplicate Without Content: Creates the duplicate Engagement with no Activations.
  6. If you set the Duplicate for a current time, click Proceed 
  7. Finalize Configuration
    • Upload an Engagement Image
      • You can set it as a default for future engagements
      • Recommended size: 720 x 400 px [JPG/JPEG/PNG/GIF]
  8. Click Save
    1. Your newly duplicated Engagement will be accessible on your Schedule
