All Sport Pro Baseball: How do I use External Stats Mode?

External Stats Mode allows All Sport Pro Baseball to receive live game data from external baseball data sources through Data Studio Baseball. This feature provides different levels of automation during game operation while still allowing operators to manually control the game when needed.

Operators can select between:

  • None – Fully manual game operation
  • Partial – Automates balls, strikes, and outs only
  • Full – Automates all supported game data

This article explains the available automation modes and how to configure them during a baseball game.

External Stats Mode allows All Sport Pro Baseball to receive baseball game data from an external baseball data source through Data Studio Baseball. This feature supports different levels of automation while allowing operators to maintain control of the game when required.

External Stats Mode Overview
Available External Stats Modes
External Stats Mode supports three automation modes:
    • None
      • Fully manual game operation
    • Partial
      • Automates balls, strikes, and outs only
    • Full
      • Automates all supported baseball game data
General Behavior
    • External Stats Mode can be changed during game operation.
    • When Partial or Full mode is active, manual controls for automated data are locked to prevent data conflicts.
    • If the external baseball data feed becomes unavailable, All Sport Pro can continue game operation using local data entry.
Requirements
External Stats Mode requires:
    • Data Studio Baseball
    • A supported external baseball data integration
    • Proper account and system configuration

💡Available modes and automated data depend on system configuration and the external data source.

Configure External Stats Mode
  1. Open All Sport Pro and start or load a baseball game.
  2. Navigate to the game settings area within the game interface.
  3. Locate the External Stats Mode option.

  1. Select the desired automation mode:

    1. None
      • All game operation is controlled manually by the operator.
      • External baseball data is not used.
      • Recommended when operating independently or when external data is unavailable.
    2. Partial
      • Automatically receives:
        • Balls
        • Strikes
        • Outs
      • Operators continue manually controlling other game elements.
      • Recommended when operators want partial automation while maintaining additional manual control.
    3. Full
      • Automatically receives supported game data from the external baseball data source.
      • May include:
        • Team names
        • Rosters
        • Pitch counts
        • Situational game data
      • Recommended for fully integrated workflows using Data Studio Baseball.
  1. Continue operating the game as normal.
  2. Switch External Stats Mode as needed during game operation.
