All Sport Pro: Data Studio Configuration

Topic

All Sport Pro can seamlessly output game data to Data Studio. It creates a dedicated source for each sport and a feed for each scoreboard, mapped based on the RTD Data Source. This setup enables advanced features such as JSON data integration, publishing ERTD configurations, and incorporating additional data fields beyond traditional standard profiles.

Steps

Set up the Connection in All Sport Pro

  1. Log in to All Sport Pro.
  2. Disconnect any active games.
  3. Click on the top-left menu icon and choose Settings.
     
  4. Click on Data Studio Integration.
  5. Enter the address for the environment: 
    Cloud: https://venus.daktronics.com/datastudio
    On-premise: https://computername:32851 (Ex. https://venus-p:32851)
  6. Enter your Venus Control Suite (VCS) Username and Password.
    Note: All Sport Pro does not yet support accounts in cloud VCS that require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). 
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Test Connection and verify a green check mark appears. 

Verify the Data Studio Feed

  1. Create a new game in All Sport Pro.
  2. Log in to Data Studio. 
  3. Verify sources have been created for each sport.
  4. Click on the data source matching the sport for the game created in Step 1.
  5. Click the data feed to view the data.
  6. Verify data matches from All Sport Pro.
    Note: Clock values will only update every one minute of elapsed game time within the data feed; however, the video displays will update in real time. 
  7. If the data source or feed is not populating, restart the Series 2 device. Click the top-right user menu in All Sport Pro and select Power.
