  3. Next, view Venus Web Editor: How do I add my data feed to a web presentation in Venus Control Suite?
  4. Open the Web Editor and select the presentation that contains the data field you want to format
    • This is where you’ll apply conditional formatting to text elements.

  2. Click the "+" icon to add a new condition.

  1. Enter a descriptive Condition Title (e.g., “Train Status Color”).

Additional Information
  • Priority Adjustment:
When multiple conditions are true, the system uses a priority feature to determine which condition takes precedence.

  • Cloning Conditions:
Conditions can be cloned to streamline duplication and editing across multiple elements.

  • Visual Confirmation in UI:

    • Bold text indicates a condition is fully applied to selected elements.
    • Grayed-out text indicates partial application.
  • Supported Data Sources:

    • Any field used in the presentation
    • Date & Time fields are supported
Use Case Scenarios

Transportation Status Display
A transit agency uses a dynamic data feed to show real-time statuses. By applying conditional formatting:

  • “Departed” displays in blue
  • “Cancelled” displays in red
  • “Delayed” displays in orange

This allows passengers to quickly interpret status changes visually without reading each label.

Weather Display
A weather presentation uses temperature and dew point data to highlight conditions:

  • Temperatures >60°F show in orange
  • Temperatures >100°F show in red
  • Dew point thresholds can trigger yellow or gray text based on comfort levels

Priority settings ensure the most critical condition is displayed when multiple thresholds are met.
