All Sport Pro: How to Connect Handheld Switches and Configure Scoreboard Communication?

This article focuses on physical game control connections and ensuring scoreboard communication is properly configured.

As of Sept 30, 2025, Series 2.0 (plastic enclosure) is no longer produced. Series 2.5 (metal enclosure, internal battery, power-off button) is the official replacement and is a direct drop-in replacement for Series 2.0, with identical ports, radio, firmware, and power supply.

Steps

Connect Handheld Switches
  1. Plug the main clock handheld switch into the MAIN CLOCK START/STOP/HORN SWITCH jack.
  2. Plug the shot/play clock handheld switch into the SHOT/PLAY CLOCK START/STOP/RESET SWITCH jack.
Configure Radio Scoreboard Communication
  1. The interface includes a built-in radio transmitter for wireless scoreboard communication.
  2. From the main menu  click Scoreboards.
  3. Ensure the Radio Broadcast Group and Radio Channel Number match the settings on the scoreboard receiver.

⚠️ If the radio settings do not match, the scoreboard will not receive data.

Configure Wired Scoreboard Communication
  1. Connect ¼" phone cables to the SCOREBOARD jack on the interface.
  2. Route minimum single-pair copper cable in conduit to the scoreboard(s).
  3. Refer to the scoreboard documentation for specific wiring instructions.
Additional Information
  • The interface supports both fixed-digit (7-segment LED) and video scoreboards.
  • Use the Filters in the Scoreboards menu to narrow settings by sport.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected and shielded as required.
