Venus Control Suite Sales: How to Use the Advertiser Cleanup Tool?

How to remove expired or unused advertisers and associated playlists using the Advertiser Cleanup Wizard.
This feature is available to Standard and Admin Out of Home users in Venus Control Suite.

Steps
Use the Advertiser Cleanup Wizard to quickly remove advertisers that have expired or have never had associated sales. This process helps keep your Sales environment organized and improves performance in high-volume systems.
- Log into Venus Control Suite Venus Accounts: How do I log in to Venus Control Suite?
- Navigate to the Scheduling App
- Click on the Sales icon in the left hand menu
- From the Sales page, click the broom icon
in the menu bar to open the Advertiser Cleanup Tool.
💡 Note: The tool is also accessible from the Playlists section. - Define cleanup criteria:
- Select an Expired Before date (defaults to today) and/or No Sales.
- If multiple criteria are selected, only advertisers that meet all selected criteria will appear.
- Click Next
- Review selected advertisers:
- Confirm the list of advertisers that will be removed.
⚠️ Note: Playlists associated with selected advertisers will also be deleted. - Deselect any advertisers you wish to keep.
- Click Next
- Confirm the list of advertisers that will be removed.
- Confirm cleanup:
- Finalize the removal of selected advertisers and any associated playlists.
- Click Confirm to permanently delete the advertiser(s) and their related content.
⚠️ Note: Deleted advertisers and associated playlists cannot be restored.
