Venus Control Suite Media: How to Enable or Access Media Kit Content?

Steps

 

Content Store Retirement and Transition

The content store on buy.daktronics.com has been officially retired. All paid content packages are now managed through our new platform: shop.daktronics.com. As a result, any download links from the retired site are no longer active or supported.

Accessing Daktronics Media Kit - Free Content Packages (Venus Control Suite Users)

Free media kits that were previously downloaded from the old store are now available directly in Venus Control Suite through the Daktronics Media Kit. These no longer require a separate download link.

The Daktronics Media Kit is a library of free media available to Venus Control Suite users and is accessible through the Web Editor and Scheduling Apps.

To enable and access the Daktronics Media Kit:

  1. Navigate to the Web Editor App from Venus Control Suite Launchpad.
  2. Click Settings (gear icon) in the bottom left-hand corner.

  1. Navigate to the Media Kit settings and click Enable.

 

  1. Once enabled, the Daktronics Media Kit can be accessed in the following locations throughout Venus Control Suite:
      1. Media Library

      1. Import Media while creating Web Presentation

      1. Creating a Playlist in Scheduling App

Accessing Paid Content Packages (Venus Control Suite Users)

If you are a Venus Control Suite user and previously purchased a paid content package:

  1. Email: commercialcreativeservices@daktronics.com for new links
  2. Include the following required information:
    • Original Order Number (required to verify your purchase)
    • Display Size
    • Software (e.g., Venus Control Suite)
    • Creative Services Team will review your request and send an email with next steps.
Accessing Free or Paid Content Packages (Non-Venus Control Suite Users)
  1. Contact commercialcreativeservices@daktronics.com
  2. Please include:
    • Display Size
    • Software (e.g., Venus 1500 v4)
  3. Creative Services Team will review your request and determine next steps.

💡Note: For full access to Daktronics Media Kit, we recommend customers migrate to Venus Control.
