The Daktronics Digital Sign Technician (DST) Certification program is designed to empower sign company partners with the technical skills to effectively install and service Daktronics products.  Key features of DST can be found here: Digital Sign Technician Certification Program 

Steps

Purchase a DST Subscription 

  1. Navigate to Daktronics.com  

  1. Click on Partner Portal.  

  1. Log in. 

  1. Navigate to the Training tab.  

  1. Click on Learn More and Sign Up. 

  1. Scroll to the bottom and click Get Started. This will take you to the Shop page to purchase your subscription.

Identify program participants/learners.  

  1. After purchasing your DST subscription, you will receive an email asking you to identify/enroll learners.  

  1. Fill out the form in the email. You will need each learner’s name and email address.  

  1. Once verified, these learners will receive an email with a link to set up a password.  

  1. These credentials will allow learners to log into our Partner Portal and gain access to our DST library of courses.

Learner Log in – Access courses 

  1. Navigate to Daktronics.com 

  1. Click on Partner Portal.  

  1. Learner enters credentials to log into the Daktronics Partner Portal. 

  1.  Navigate to the Training tab.  

  1. Click on Access Your Courses.

  1. You can also go directly to the dashboard by visiting academy.daktronics.com and signing in using your credentials.

Completing Courses 

  1. Log in to Partner Portal  

  1. Access training. 

  1. Once inside the Learner Dashboard, choose a course and begin.  

  1. Courses may be completed in one or multiple sessions.  

  1. At the end of each course there is a Quiz. The learner must pass the Quiz with a score of 70% for successful course completion.  

  1. Click on the Next Steps section of the course following the Quiz. This section provides instructions for receiving a personalized certificate, a personalized social media graphic, along with a badge and sample social media post to celebrate the accomplishment.
