Steps

Purchase a DST Subscription 

 

1.Purchasers- Navigate to Daktronics.com and click on Partner Portal in the upper right corner.

2. Log in using Daktronics credentials. If you do not yet have a Daktronics account with a password, click on Request Daktronics Account on the Login page.  You will receive an email to set up your password. You may then sign in and purchase the DST program. You will not be able to purchase the DST Program until you have an account and create a password.  

3. Navigate to the Training tab find the Digital Sign Technician (DST) Certification section under Product Information. Click on Learn More and Sign Up.

 

4. Click on Buy a Subscription or read about the program first.  You can also scroll to the bottom and click Get Started. This will take you to the Shop page to purchase your subscription.  
 

 

5. Select either 1 User or Unlimited Users from the dropdown menu.   

 

 

6. Select Log in and Add to Cart. 

 

7. Log in again using the password you created and complete your purchase.  

 

Identify program participants/learners.  

 

1.Purchasers- After purchase, you will receive a Welcome email with a link to add learners to your subscription. This must be done before they can gain access to the learning materials. Click on Add Users Here.  

 

2. Fill out the form in the email. You will need each learner’s name and email address. Be sure to click Submit when finished.  

3. Daktronics will then process your new learners and get them added to our DST platform. Please allow 1-3 business days for this process to be completed. Once processed, new learners will receive a Welcome email with login instructions. Instruct them to watch for the email in their Inbox and their Spam folder. They will need to open it and follow the instructions within 7 days of receipt.  Instructions are also included in this article. 

 

 

Learner Log in – Access courses 

 

1.Learners- If you have never had a Daktronics account, you should have received a "Welcome to MyDaktronics" email to set up your password for your new account. If you do not see one in your Inbox, please check your Spam and other email folders. *If you already have an existing Daktronics account and password, skip to Step #3. 

 

2. Open that Welcome email and click Create My Password. Remember it as you will need it to log into the Daktronics Partner Portal on Daktronics.com. This is how you will access your DST courses.  

*If it has been 7 days since you received the Welcome email, the Create My Password link will be expired. Move to Step 3 and follow directions to Reset Password.  

 

3. Go to Daktronics.com and click on Partner Portal in the top right corner of your screen. Then, click Sign In. This is where you will begin each time you log in to the DST courses.  

 

4. Enter your email and password for your Daktronics account and click Continue.

 

*If you need to reset your password due to the Welcome link being expired, enter your email and click Reset Password. Follow the instructions and then proceed to Step 5.  

 

5. Click on the Digital Sign Technician Training icon. *Normally, this will take you directly to your training dashboard. For First Time Log In, you will have an additional step.  


 

6. You're almost there! The first time you sign in, you will be taken to this screen. You must choose SIGN IN WITH SSO the first time you sign in. This will take you to your Daktronics log in again. You will only have to do this once. 

 
 

7. After your first login, you should go directly from the Partner Portal to the DST Dashboard by clicking the Digital Sign Technician Training icon. 
 
 
 
Completing Courses 

 

1.Learners- Follow instructions in this article to log into the DST Program and access training materials.

 

2. Once inside the DST Learn Dashboard, choose a course and begin.  We recommend starting with the Essentials course — it lays the foundation for everything else and will help you get the most out of the program. After that, you can dive into the product-specific courses at your own pace. Your progress will be saved automatically so you can pick up where you left off. 

 3. Courses may be completed in one or multiple sessions.  

 

 4. At the end of each course there is a Quiz. The learner must pass the Quiz with a score of 80% for successful course completion.  

 

 5. After passing a Quiz, click on the Next Steps section of the course. This section  provides instructions for receiving a personalized certificate, a personalized social media graphic, along with a badge file and sample social media post to celebrate the accomplishment and/or certification.
