VFC: How to set signal loss timeout so the sign doesn't blank right away

  • I want my message to remain on the sign if something happens where the controller & VCB are unable to play.
  • Message gos off after a few seconds when the controller loses power or signal to the sign.

Environment

  • Transportation
  • Vanguard
  • VFC

Steps

This feature is currently limited to the Triton & CCR module types.
  • Log into the VFC.
  • Select the sign.
  • Select Configuration.
  • Select System Configuration.
  • Select Optional.
  • Arrow down twice.
  • Select Signal loss Timeout.
    • VFC option is in seconds up to 65534 (18.2 hours).
       
NOTE: There is a potential for unwanted side effects, such as incorrect data showing on the sign. It is the operator/ sign owners responsibility to monitor the message(s) if you use this feature.
