DVN-3051: Panels not properly aligned, interconnect plates attachment

Potential Symptoms

DVN-3001 3051 Panel Installation RA R01

  • Check height of edge to panel shelf. If > HEX-014 OR check with feeler gauge/straight edge
  • Cannot align side-side edge-edge when interconnect bolts tight

⚠️ CRITICAL – ALL panel front edges are aligned with each other

⚠️ Do not pry on cabinets – make adjustments to substructure for proper alignment

Cause

DVN-3051 Curve: interconnect plates attachment may cause panels to not be properly aligned

Resolution

Add shim 0M-5100721
(typ. RIGHT SIDE of SEAM [left side of a panel])

Curved portions of the display experienced same types of milling issues as DVN-3001, but the resolution is different due to the interconnect curve through the top and bottom interconnect plates.  This will not allow to bolt across the seams like with our straight panels.  See: [DVN-3001 DVN-3051] Panels not properly aligned, captivated bolt connection

Note, with the curved panels, it is critical  to remember that the edges must be at the same elevation across the seam. If they’re not, a shim and counterbored plate should be used to get them to the same elevation.
