Steps
- After connecting to the MX-1, tap the main menu button
, and select Settings. Under Select Sport, ensure Soccer is selected. If it is not, select it and tap OK.
- Under Scoreboard Type, select either Football or Soccer, depending on the scoreboard model in use.
- If the scoreboard generally scores football games (model designation "FB-####"), select Football. This would also be selected for multisport ("MS-####") models.
- For most other dedicated soccer models ("SO-####"), select Soccer.
- Under Stat Category, select which stat to show on the scoreboard: Corner Kicks, Saves, or Fouls. Note that standard soccer scoreboards do not include vinyl Fouls captions.
- Tap Back to save the settings and begin soccer operation.
- Use the +1 and -1 buttons to adjust the team scores.
- Tap SHOTS, SAVES, FOULS, or C-KICKS to increase the stat for the appropriate team. Tap the settings button (
) next to a stat followed by -1 to subtract.
- Use the left and right arrows to change the HALF.
- Tap SHOW HORN to reveal the horn button. This is to prevent accidentally sounding the horn. Tap the inward facing arrows to hide the horn button.
Auto Horn
To enable/disable the Auto Horn function:
- Tap the settings button (
) next to the clock.
- Select Enable Auto-Horn or Disable Auto-Horn to set the horn behavior. With Auto Horn enabled, the horn will sound automatically when the clock counts down to 00:00 or when it counts up to the period value.
