We’re evolving Venus Control Suite’s Announcement Panel into a more powerful and intuitive experience called the Notification Panel! This enhancement brings a mobile-inspired style to your notifications for familiarity; while adding a few changes to make sure you’ll never miss an important message!

What's New?
As Venus Control Suite continues to grow, so does the need for timely, relevant communication across apps. This enhancement ensures users receive important updates, whether from us or directly from an app, telling you important information about your displays, accounts, or updates in the software!
Here's What You'll Notice:
New Bell Icon: Replacing the megaphone, the bell icon reflects a broader range of notifications that can be sent within Venus Control Suite
New Notification Style: Mobile-Inspired notifications with timestamps and unread counter for familiarity and tracking
Organized by App & Type: Each notification is grouped by the app they are coming from and by the type of notification (announcements, alerts, etc.) making it easier to quickly scan for information
Collapsible Sections: Keep your panel tidy by collapsing sections you don’t need to see right now.
Announcements: remain a key part of the experience! They now appear as a distinct notification type, always pinned to the top of the panel and shown with the classic megaphone icon. You will continue to receive product news, feature launches, and helpful tips where they have always been.
Your Displays are Our Priority!
The first app to send notifications through the new panel is the Displays app, specifically the Display Security Hub which is designed to monitor the public accessibility of display connected devices. Notifications from other apps will show up in your Notification Panel rather than requiring navigation to the app to receive information.
Notifications from the Display Security Hub are designed to keep you informed, not alarmed, so you can quickly maintain confidence in your security while you focus on creating and managing amazing content!
