Resolution

There are two different ways to change the duration of a layout.

Changing the duration in the Layout Storyboard:

  1. Select the message that needs modification.
  2. Click the Layout Storyboard tab in the lower left corner.
  3. There is a time frame field below the thumbnail of the layout that you can use by either clicking the arrows or typing in the desired duration.

Notes:

  • If there are multiple Elements in the layout and you would like to change the duration of all the elements and the layout at the same time, you can select and hold down your "Alt" key on your keyboard and then make changes.
  • You can also change the duration by right-clicking on an element bar and choosing Match Layout to make it the same length as the layout bar or you can choose Properties and type in the amount of time you desire and click OK.
  • If you need to decrease the hold time of a layout that contains elements (Images/Videos/Text Box), you will need to decrease the hold time of each element before you can decrease the hold time of the main layout.  Make sure at least one element within the layout is the same length as the layout to avoid blank time on the display.
