Main Clock or Play Clock Start/Stop/Horn/Reset Handheld Not Working. Ports J7 and J4 Swapped.

Potential Symptoms

  • The main clock start/stop/horn switch is not working.
  • The console will beep when the hand held buttons are pressed but it doesn't respond.
  • Play Clock not responding correctly to hand held inputs.

Cause

  • The main clock switch is plugged into J7 instead of J4.
  • The play clock switch is plugged into J4 instead of J7.

Resolution

  • Plug the main clock start/stop/horn hand held switch into J4 on the back of the All Sport 5000 series console.
  • Plug the play clock start/stop/double reset hand held switch into J7 on the back of the All Sport 5000 series console.
