No communication to display, server or client radio is missing.

Potential Symptoms

  • Building was remodeled and the server radio was misplaced.
  • Client radio was removed or possibly stolen
  • PoE may be missing as well.
  • Unable to connect to the display.
  • Ethernet Bridge Radio Diagnostics (EBRD) shows no radios found.
  • No link light on Ethernet Port where the sign is connected to the network.
  • Network Cable Unplugged" or "Media State Disconnected"  on the LAN Adapter in Network Connections.

  • No communication through the radios.

Cause

  • The server radio was misplaced during the building remodel.
  • The client radio was misplaced or stolen at some point

Resolution

  • Replace the EBR's.
  • Provide a picture of Ethernet Bridge Radios so customer knows what to look for
  • Provide the diagram of correct installation to provide direction on where to look for radios
