Display Studio: How to Use .dpf Test Patterns on a DMP-8000 to Trigger Test Patterns

Steps

  1. In Display Studio, create a New Button

  2. Select DMP-8000 Player Control in Step 1

  3. Select the sign or zone you wish to play the test pattern to in Step 2

  4. Select Play in Step 3

  5. Select Add in Step 4

    1. Navigate to the System folder which lives directly in the Content folder

    2. Select the Test folder
      Step 4c.png
    3. Choose any file that has the extension DPF

  6. Give the button a name and a color (use the color swatch icon in the top right) if desired, then select save

  7. Single click the button and your selected test pattern will play out to the DMP-8000

  8. When finished testing, Blank the display
