Steps

  • An adapter cable from Porter, to be able to connect the strips to the Shot Clock - 821210 ADAPTER CORD FOR LED PERIMETER LIGHT SYSTEM.
  • A Synchronizer from Porter if our Shot Clock doesn't put out the voltage their light strips need.
    • As of late 2023 Porter told us their light strips need 12VDC. Some of our older Shot Clock units use 12VDC for the light strips. Most of the newer versions of our Shot Clocks now give 24VDC instead. Porter strips will not run off of 24VDC.
    • Porter's solution is to offer a synchronizer. It is a separate box to drop our 24VDC to 12VDC.
    • The Shot Clock connects to the synchronizer. The synchronizer connects to their light strips. The synchronizer needs its own separate connection to a power outlet.
