Show Control System: Display Studio button, my Data Studio source is not available for ERTD requested stats.

Potential Symptoms

  • When creating a requested stat button, I don't see my data source.

Environment

  • Product: Data Studio Basketball, Display Studio 
  • Component: ERTD Requested Stats , Display Studio Script buttons
  • Control System: 

Cause

  • The data source may not have been running when Display Studio started up. 

Resolution

  1. Verify that the source is running.  For example, Display Studio or DSTI is open or the service is running.  (Both of these services should not be running simultaneously unless directed.)
  2. On step 5 pick an old button or create a new requested stats button with a different Data Source.  Follow the steps as indicated in Show Control System: How do I build a requested stats button in Display Studio
  3. Click on the Stats Request script button and a window will fly out on the right hand side. 
Click on the Refresh button.  The refresh will return communication to all the connected data sources in the feed list.  All available sources should now be visible.

  1. Click on Cancel to exit out of the requested stat selection fly out. 
  2. Return to the step 5 of the requested stat button configuration and now pick the correct data source.
