MediaRTD image not playing but plays when the name is changed

Potential Symptoms

  • A single MediaRTD image will not play. When the name is changed, the image plays.
    • Example: If the team name is set to "Ducks" and the file name is "Ducks.jpg" the image will not show on the display. If you change them to "Ducks1" and "Ducks1.jpg" the image plays out right away.

Cause

  • There is another file or folder with the same name.
    • Example: The filename is "Ducks.jpg" and there is a folder named "Ducks"

Resolution

  • Change the name of either the file you are trying to play or the file/folder with the same name.
