Content flipped on display for top and bottom

Potential Symptoms

  • Content meant to play on the top of the display is playing on the bottom.
  • Single line of content is split and separated.
  • Three lines of text, middle line of display is cropped on the top and bottom
  • Content does not appear correct on the display, appears scrambled.

Cause

  • Outputs A and B are swapped on the DMP.

Resolution

  • Access the controller in the display and correct the sata cable routing by swapping sata output A and B.
