How do I set the output voltage of older Galaxy power supplies?

  • How do I set the output voltage of older Galaxy power supplies with the set screw.
    • If the power supply needs to be replaced, it may need to be calibrated for the correct output voltage.

Steps

  1. Locate the set screw on the bottom left side of the power supply.

  2. Verify what voltage the modules require.
    • Can be done by measuring voltage to working modules in the display.

  3. Using a multi-meter, measure the voltage between the V+ and V- terminals and adjust the power screw until it is outputting the correct voltage for the type of display.
