Top line of pixels not showing on the sign

Potential Symptoms

  • Top 1 or 2 lines of pixels are cut off at the top of sign.
  • Top of number test patterns cut off.
  • Message looks like its shifted up on the display.
  • Alphabet test patterns look like they are overlapping.
  • Module Revision test pattern looks good.

Cause

  • Posting message from the controller cuts off the top line of pixels.
  • Can lines are in wrong ports on the VCB.

Resolution

  • Send the message from Vanguard software instead of direct from the VFC.
  • Swap can lines on VCB.
