Unable to enter a double play; Play entered incorrectly

Potential Symptoms

  • Unable to enter a Double Play in DakStats Baseball.
  • Error of "Second base is empty".

Cause

  • The play is being entered incorrectly.

Resolution

  • To enter in a Double Play in DakStats Baseball perform the following:
    1. Make sure there is someone on base and less than two outs in the inning.
    2. Select the F2 Batted Ball tab.
    3. Select Double Play.
    4. Enter the number where the ball was hit to in the Hit To section.
    5. Select how the double play was hit into.
    6. Enter where the first out occurred in the 1st Putout section.
    7. Enter what base the base runner was on before the ball was hit for the first out in Out 1.
    8. Enter what base the base runner was on before the ball was hit for the second out in Out 2.
    9. Enter the fielding sequence for the double play in the Sequence section.
    10. Click enter.
