Steps

Strikeout meters are available through both DakStats Baseball and the All Sport 5000 control console. This type of meter shows a "K" for both swinging and looking (the K will be backwards for looking) strike outs and may be used on its own or to complement other pitching stats. To access 'K' meters, use the below fields in content studio for your respective setup:

To use Media RTD:

  1. In Content Studio, open or create a new presentation that will include the 'K' meter.
  2. Drag the appropriate field onto the canvas.
    Note: Home/Guest Strikeout Meter displays the 'K's as one continuous string of data. If using Media RTD, you'll need to use the individual (Home/Guest Bitmap K Meter) fields so that the correct image will be pulled for swinging vs looking strikeouts.

  3. Highlight the data field on the canvas and then, in the toolbar, navigate to the Field Properties tab
  4. Select the check box next to media RTD

  5. From the browser window that opens, navigate to the MediaRTD folder on the DMP-8000 and into any needed subfolders (see How Do I use Media RTD Items that are Inside Subfolders?) to find the image that will be used for Media RTD
    Note: The images that will be used as Media RTD will need to be saved as S.png and L.png for the 2 types of strikeouts.
  6. Save the presentation and play it out to the display.
