Steps

Note:  When removing modules, do not allow them to hang by the cables.

  1. Turn off power to the display.
  2. Locate the latch fastener on the module.  It is centered in the third row of LEDs from the top of the module. 
  3. Insert a 1/8" hex head wrench into the latch fastener and turn a quarter turn counter-clockwise.

  4. Gently tip the top of the module outward slightly.  
  5. Lift the module upward to disengage the tabs at the bottom of the module from the slots on the display's face sheet.

  6. Disconnect the power cable by squeezing the tabs on the sides of the plug and pulling out.
  7. Carefully disconnect the two signal cables from the module by squeezing the tabs on the sides of the plug and pulling out.

When ready to reinstall the module.

  1. Connect the two signal cables to the module.
  2. Connect the power cable.
  3. Insert the tabs at the bottom of the module in the corresponding slots on the display face sheet.
  4. Tip the top of the module into place making sure not to pinch any cables.
  5. Latch the module by turning the hex wrench a quarter-turn clockwise.
  6. Turn power on to the display.
