Score incrementing by 100 when subtracting 1, Score by quarter set to Yes

Potential Symptoms

  • After moving to the next quarter, if you subtract a point the score increases by 100.
    • Point will move from 6 to 105 after pressing -1 score.
    • Scores with a 9 in the 1's digit will increase by 101 instead of 1. Ex: 39 to 140 instead of 39 to 40.
    • Trying to subtract score to correct number will automatically reset it to 100 points higher than it is supposed to be.

Cause

  • Score by quarter is set to Yes.

Resolution

  1. Turn console on and enter in basketball code.
  2. Press Menu.
  3. Press down arrow to scroll to Edit Settings and press enter.
  4. Arrow down to Score By Quarter.
  5. Press Clear/No to set to No.
  6. Press Menu to return to game.
