HS-200, No Audio from wireless microphone

Potential Symptoms

  • Infrequently on power up the belt pack indicates it has connected to the HS-200 by turning the decimal point on the channel # display on solid.
  • No sound comes through the speaker when using wireless mic.

Cause

  • Firmware bugs in the receiver radio (in the HS-200) cause a "volume" command to inadvertently set the radio volume to a low value.

Resolution

  • Resolved in ER-03596900 version 4.1.

For Temporary Operation

  • Cycle power on the HS-200 to force a reconnection.
