Back to back games causes roster issues

Potential Symptoms

  • Roster from previous game is being seen in Show Control even after a refresh in Display Studio

Cause

  • DSTI application was not restarted between games or since your last game
  • DSTI will cache rosters in memory
  • Even if you use the Clear Stats Data option in the Edit menu of DSTI, that will only clear out the UDP data traffic, not the Roster data

Resolution

  • Restart the DSTI (Daktronics Scoring Timing Interface) software prior to the start of each game
