Potential Symptoms

  • FL-3000 using key fob showing AFF for master driver address but still communicating, firmware mismatch.
  • Intermittant communication issues that may include but not limited to the following:
    • Only the master driver display is changing prices.
    • Some displays are changing price and responding to the remote and some are not.
    • Issue is different every time the display is power cycled or may go away entierly.
  • Displays are changing price seemingly at random entirely on their own.
  • On pre revision 29 drivers addressing may start at A60, A61, etc.

Cause

  • Unknown.
    • Suspect revision 18 drivers are not communicating properly with the revision 30+ drivers.

Resolution

  •    Replace all drivers in sign to be revision 30 or higher.
