Cause

  •    This is considered normal operation for the DMP-8000, but it can be changed by editing the .DSRC file for the data source(s) you wish to keep the leading and trailing space characters on.

Resolution

  • Modify your .DSRC file (located at C:\ProgramData\Daktronics\VNet4\Data on the DMP-8000) to include the following highlighted text:
    • <string>udp://localhost:21000?protocol=rtd&amp;justify=strict</string>

NOTE: Make sure you are also using a fixed-width or monospace font when trying to align timing data that comes in as complete lines of data instead of individual fields. Some options usually installed by default include: Courier New, Consolas, Lucida Console, and Kaiti. Another good option is the free Google font Roboto Mono that can be added to the Show Control and DMP-8000 computers.
