Steps
The door switch wires need to be wired into the Digital I/O ports on the back of the VFC controller.
Use pins 1 and 2 if wiring up a single door switch.
- Log into the VFC controller by hitting enter.
- Select 1 for Sign 1.
- Select 4 for configuration.
- Select 3 for Peripheral.
- Select 1 for Add.
- Select 2 for Advanced Setup.
- Arrow down twice.
- Select 3 for Add Door Monitoring.
- Select 1 for Door Switch.
- Select 2 for VIP 1.
- Enter in pin 1 (if door switch is using pin 1) then hit enter.
- The door switch can now be viewed in the peripherals.
