How do you add a door switch into the back of the VFC controller?

      Steps

      The door switch wires need to be wired into the Digital I/O ports on the back of the VFC controller.

      Use pins 1 and 2 if wiring up a single door switch.

      1. Log into the VFC controller by hitting enter.
      2. Select 1 for Sign 1.
      3. Select 4 for configuration.
      4. Select 3 for Peripheral.
      5. Select 1 for Add.
      6. Select 2 for Advanced Setup.
      7. Arrow down twice.
      8. Select 3 for Add Door Monitoring.
      9. Select 1 for Door Switch.
      10. Select 2 for VIP 1.
      11. Enter in pin 1 (if door switch is using pin 1) then hit enter.
      12. The door switch can now be viewed in the peripherals.
