DakStats Export Error: File could not be Opened

Potential Symptoms

  • When exporting files, I receive error message "Export Error: File could not be Opened." then, "Export File Failed."

Cause

  • Users often export games to portable USB jump drives or discs and then remove them. DakStats will not allow users to export games to these directories unless a re-writable drive or disc is there again.

Resolution

  1. Click the Directory button.
  2. Make sure to point DakStats to a directory that is accessible. For example, it may currently be pointed to a disc that is no longer in the drive.
