Omni 2000; After pressing start, all lanes Finish Arm and button presses do not do Split Times

Potential Symptoms

  • After pressing start, the start arm countdown finishes, and all lanes Finish Arm.
  • Button press after only finishes the lane.
  • Button presses do not do Split Times.

  • Control System:  OmniSport 2000 v16.02.23 or higher

Cause

  • Primary Time Input set to "BUTTONS" instead of "TOUCHPAD"
    • Main Menu - [4]>[2]>[3]

Resolution

Setting Primary Time Input to:
  • "BUTTONS" will finish arm all lanes and the button will only be used for finish time.
  • "TOUCHPAD" will allow for split times and finish time.
  • To be able to do splits with 1 push button per lane instead of touchpads and backup push buttons:
    • Set Primary Time Input to "TOUCHPAD"
      • Main Menu - [4]>[2]>[3]
    • Plug the single push button into the Touchpad dual banana plug on each lane module.
  • Operate the event with the push button doing splits and finish time.
