MS-2113 scoreboard blanking when the horn sounds. Shorted XLR plug.

Cause

  • The XLR plug is shorted.
  • Schematic drawing 3211007.
  • Disconnect the P7 plug connected to J7 on the interface board and the scoreboard works fine when the horn sounds.

Resolution

  •   Try and fix the XLR plug locally or replace the entire 0a-1192-5509 harness. 

For Temporary Operation

  • Disconnect P7 from the interface board.
