Steps

Connecting your Daktronics Hosted Venus Control Suite account to your Display Studio/Show Control System allows you to turn scheduling mode on or off from within Display Studio.

  1. If you haven't already installed Display Studio, run the .exe file.
  2. Go to Programs and Features in the control panel on your Windows machine and find Daktronics Display Studio
  3. Select that program and choose change/modify
  4. Follow the prompts, saying yes/next to all settings keeping them the same until you get to the Plugins window
  5. Click on the plugin labelled Venus and choose the selection that says 'This feature will be installed on local hard drive.'

  6. Instead of using the name of the computer that a locally hosted version of Venus Control Suite would be on, use venus.daktronics.com with port 443 and the appropriate login information for your Daktronics Hosted Venus Control Suite account.

  7. Finish through the rest of the installation.
    If properly connected to Venus Control Suite, you will have a green status light in Display Studio and message saying it is connected to Venus Control Suite.
