Audio/SDI Inputs on Standard Video Rack

Steps

Your system can take a variety of video inputs. Refer to the rack diagram for these input locations.

Your input type will determine how you need to plug in to the rack.

A) HD-SDI: plug in to HD-SDI in on patch panel at top of rack.

  • Blackmagic micro HDMI to SDI converter

B) Converters:

  • HDMI: plug HDMI in to HDMI converter on rack shelf. Use patch cable to patch from HDMI converter to SDI in on patch panel at top of rack.
  • Analog: plug analog input into analog converter on rack shelf (set dip switches according to dip switch guide above converter, if necessary). Use patch cable to patch from analog converter to SDI in on patch panel at top of rack.
