Content Studio: How do I create content that shows Stat Cast Player Metrics?

    There are a lot of Stats available through Statcast Player Metrics, and it is displayed through templates created in Content Studio.  Follow the steps below to create templates to show stats from Statcast Interface.  For the basics on creating messages with RTD, See How to create messages with data in Content Studio?

    Steps

    1. Start a new presentation in Content Studio. Add any formatting to the background of the presentation.  This can include adding text, or inserting a background image.
    2. Choose your Sport Profile from the Dynamic Data Library on the left hand side of Content Studio.
      1. Sport Profile/Category: Baseball: MLB (DakStats)
      2. Input: DataServer StatCast Player Metrics
    3. Find the field you wish to insert as an RTD field, and click & drag it into the presentation.
    • The player name will come across as RTD.  -For example,  choose T.METRIC 01PLAYERFULLNAME
    • Other common fields would be METRIC NAME, METRIC VALUE.

    The "reserved" data fields that will not be available until future releases.
