Venus 7000: How do I setup and run a schedule

Steps

  1. Open the Scheduler from the V7000 Shell.
  2. Click on New or Open Schedule from the file menu.  If new was selected Name the Schedule.
  3. Right Click in white area of the new .sd7(Schedule) file and click add item.
  4. Choose the appropriate option:
    1.  SQ7 or AVI: (sequence) Playback file types.
    2.  Dim: Allows for Dimming the display in a schedule (Not recommended).
    3.  Bright: Allows for Brightening a display in a schedule (Not recommended).
    4.  Blank: blanks an LED display.
    5.  ROT: displays a sequence on a rotating basis; for example, after every three or four sequences.
    6.  SD7: a schedule file type. It allows users to insert an existing schedule within a schedule.
  5. Select the first date and last date the schedule is to be played.
  6. Select the start time and end time the schedule is to be played.
  7. Select the days of the week the schedule is to be played.
  8. Repeat Step 4 thru 7 until schedule is complete.
  9. Save Schedule.
  10. To start the schedule, proceed to the display tab and select the sign the schedule was created for.
  11. Select file type of Schedule from the lower left corner.
  12. Click on the schedule that was created and press the Play Schedule option on right.
